Little Campbell Creek - Program Sponsors
Currently the Little Campbell Creek Rescue Project is being assisted by funding and consulting services from The Great Land Trust (www.greatlandtrust.org ), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Anchorage Field Office (alaska.fws.gov )the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (www.noaa.gov ), the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (www.nfwf.org ), the Municipality of Anchorage (www.muni.org), the Anchorage office of U.S.K.H. (www.uskh.com ), Restoration Science and Engineering (www.RestorSci.com ), Nefzger Consulting, OilRisk Consultants, TTT Environmental, and Hemlock Scientific.
The Meadow Park alcove project began in June 2007 with assistance by Criterion General (www.criteriongeneral.com), B.C. Excavating, Inc., Anchorage Sand and Gravel (www.anchsand.com), Alaska Trailblazing (trucking, www.alaskatrailblazing.com), Evergreen Nursery (www.evergreennurseryak.com) Polar Supply, and with equipment donated by NC Machinery (www.ncmachinery.com ).
Resident and business volunteers, including Brown Bear Body and Paint, have greatly assisted us in a variety of ways. Parts of Little Campbell Creek are being monitored and cleaned up by teachers and students from Polaris K-12 and Girl Scout Troop 488.
