3. Conduct a bird survey on lower Ship Creek.
4. Research historical riparian areas on Ship Creek.

Lead a Ship Creek Streamwalk!
We need you!
The AWC is looking for volunteers to lead a 1-2 hour streamwalk down the lower stretch of Ship Creek. Send an email to holly@anchoragecreeks.org or call 272-7335 for more information.

Past Interns have:
- 1. Designed and executed two user surveys on Ship Creek that helped us to develop our program goals and objectives.
- 2. Researched and wrote an angler access study which ranked areas of the creek in terms of erosion and ease of access to help us determine future restoration sites.
- 3. Designed Ship Creek Unplugged brochures, posters.
- Worked with a local artist to design an interpretive display to accompany a streambank restoration project.
- 4. Worked with the media by writing and distributing press releases to publicize AWC events.
